Box will no longer support the Updates feature

Box has made the decision to end of life (EOL) the Updates feature on August 31, 2022. Updates shows the changes made to all the content a user has access to or has collaborated on. It was reported that Box conducted thoughtful analysis of Updates usage, and the low adoption signaled that they should redirect their Updates maintenance effort to delivering higher value features to customers.

As an alternative to Updates, users can use Recents to access contents they recently interacted with.

Box will no longer support the Box Capture app

Box has made the decision to end support for the Box Capture app on September 15, 2022 with the intent to end of life (EOL) the product in August 2023. Box is committed to providing a feature-rich app experience for both iOS and Android users and have included Capture Mode functionality in the Box Mobile app. Moving forward, it was reported Box will focus resources on powering development efforts in the primary mobile app.
