Be certain not to fall prey to recent phishing attacks using coronavirus themed phishing emails designed to steal your personal information. The World Health Organization (WHO) is reporting criminals are actively sending emails that direct users to click on a fake document of “safety measures”.

The click is then redirected to a compromised site that has the WHO website iframed in the background. A popup is revealed that instructs users to “verify” their username and password. While the iframed site and original email, as reported by Sophos, are well disguised, always be suspicious of organizations asking for your personal information from an email invitation.
