University-supported tools to help employees maintain collaborative efficiencies while off campus.
ITS has compiled the following list of tools to assist with communications, remote storage, and application sharing, should you need to maintain business continuity while working from home.

Many W&L sponsored software applications are available on the “MyApps” page located here: https://myapps.wlu.edu.
- Enter your W&L credentials to access.
- Select any application listed to login without being required to re-enter your credentials.

(https://myvi.wlu.edu): myVI provides a convenient way for students, staff, and faculty to access a Windows desktop environment, including Windows software and W&L network storage, from any device and from anywhere with an Internet connection.

To access VPN client download and installation instructions, please log in here with your W&L network credentials (Duo Prompt is Required): https://vpn.wlu.edu
Once logged in, select the dropdown menu “Download FortiClient”. Select Windows or Mac to access your download and installation instructions.

Microsoft Teams (teams.wlu.edu)
- Microsoft Teams is a collaboration and chat solution, integrated in the Office 365 ecosystem, that allows for synchronous (real-time) video conferencing.

Zoom (https://wlu.zoom.us)
- A basic account allows for one-to-one sessions of unlimited duration and group sessions of 40 minutes for up to 3 participants total.
- Sign up for a basic account at https://zoom.us/signup with your W&L email address.
- A pro account allows for group meetings with up to 100 participants for up to 24 hours.
- Contact the ITS Information Desk at 540.458.4357 (HELP) or help@wlu.edu to request a Pro license.
- You can share a link to the Zoom session in an Announcement or into a Calendar event in your Canvas course and/or send participants a link to the session via email. A Zoom account isn’t required to attend a meeting.
