Securing Your Wi-Fi Access Point
February 21st, Tip of the Week | The first step to creating a cybersecure home is to start by securing your Wi-Fi Access Point. Change your Wi-Fi Access default administrator password to something only you know. Many Wi-Fi Access Points or Wi-Fi routers are shipped with default administrator passwords that are publicly known and posted on the Internet. This can make it easier for a hacker to gain access to your home network. Review your router’s documentation for instructions on how to change the default password.

Advanced Threat Protection
February 7th, Tip of the Week | Advanced Threat Protection, or ATP from Microsoft is a cloud-based email filtering service that protects against unknown malware and viruses while helping to safeguard our users from harmful attempts by hackers attempting to steal personal data. At W&L, emails are back-checked against a real-time database of threats to minimize clicks, attachments and spoofing attempts that pose a threat to you. Find out more about ATP and stay safe online.

Just because an urgent email has your home address, phone number, or birth date in it does not mean it is legitimate.
