Student Survey and Faculty Report:
A technology readiness survey was delivered to students today to help faculty understand the remote technology environment students must manage to join virtual instruction courses. (Includes time zone!)
- View the survey and all questions: https://go.wlu.edu/ready
- Using this centralized survey allows the student to provide the information once instead of multiple times by course AND allows you to easily report results as noted below.
- Please encourage your students to complete the survey!
Survey results can be viewed at any time by running this Informer report: https://go.wlu.edu/ready-responses. (Login required)
- Your Winter Term courses and enrolled students appear on the left. (When the course is expanded by clicking the ‘+’ sign.)
- The report is dynamic. As students complete the survey, their readiness data will appear in the report immediately.
Adobe Creative Cloud:
- Licensing is now available for students to download and use from off campus network and on a personal computer.
- They have been informed via email with instructions provided at the Students Virtual Learning page on https://itsnews.wlu.edu.
- If asked for instructions or help by your students, send them to the URL above or have them contact the Help Desk at 540/458-4357 or help@wlu.edu.
Zoom Licensing Request from ITS:
- All faculty are licensed for Zoom.
- If you do not plan to use Zoom, please contact Julie Knudson (jmknudson@wlu.edu) as soon as possible.
- ITS is managing need across all campus gropus and would like to re-distribute unused licenses.
